Did You Know...
The ornate Urnes stave church, located in Sogn County, dates back to 1132. It is considered the oldest of the approximately 30 stave churches remaining in Norway.
Gietost, cheese made from goat's milk, cream and whey is reported to have financially saved the Gulbrandsdalen Valley. This norwegian delicacy is available locally from Bacchus' Wine and Gift shop.
