A trip to Punzel's, a Scandinavian food/gift shop, just south of Traverse City, is planned for Saturday, August 7th for Askeladden Lodge members and guests. Fabulous shopping awaits - but please bring checks or cash only. We must know the number of people who are going in order to plan for a picnic lunch there. The cost of the lunch is $14.95. Please RSVP to Joan O'Bryan (joan.obryan@wmich.edu) or Dennis Darling (dennis.darling@wmich.edu) by July 27th. We will then contact you to confirm the trip and transportation needs by August 4th. We will leave Kalamazoo about 8:30 AM and have lunch at 12:30 or 1:30. It is a 3-hour trip one way from Kalamazoo. A guided tour of the grounds is available as well for an additional $5.
